Hey guys! Below were some color studies i did by the amazing landscape painter, Thomas Cole. His work encompasses alot richness and scope in his landscapes, which gives alot of mood :) I hope i can continue painting more of these in conjuncture to more finished work.
These are sick! I really like the first one, it has a lot of good depth and atmospheric perspective.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Adele! Yeah doing studies like these, especially from picturesque artists like Thomas Cole, helps develop your eye on mood, color, and composing abstract shapes to make them feel more representational.. Definitely try doing these studies for yourself too :D
